This picture I took on sunday - about 20 meteres from the dino-tracks. It is such a serene, peacefull picture that just makes me long to go back, and lie in the warm sun with my toes in the water... This is Bea and Jeff just before they get hungry and tired and not in the mood for anymore dino-tracks - lol

Dinosaur Footprints @ Ojihenamaparero
These 30 + footprints were left by a dinosaur (CERATOSAURIA) who possible belonged to the larger order of Therapoda - which comprises all the carnivores! Thse tracks were about 190 million years old!
We were very "impressed" with these footprints and it was easy to imagine the dinosaurs walking amongst us in the spec of time. This one must have been as tall as a giraffe apparently.
The kids are now defiantely "hooked" on dinosaurs and fossils.
We also saw the smaller dinosaur tracks (SYNTARSUS) that were spread out everywhere.
My son Jeff climbed to the top of Waterberg Plato all on his own. I didn't carry him once. Unbelievable. The one lady we met up on the mountain said: How did that small child get up here. I was so proud of him.
